The Joint Committee of Parliament analyzing the Private Information Safety Invoice was given an extension until the monsoon session to submit its report.
The JCP was constituted in Lok Sabha in December 2019 and was anticipated to submit its report within the finances session.
Meenakshi Lekhi of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Celebration (BJP) moved a movement searching for extension as much as the monsoon session of parliament for the 30-member panel to submit its report. Presently, there are two vacancies within the committee.

The Private Information Safety Invoice seeks to control the usage of particular person knowledge by the federal government and personal firms.
