Israeli President Reuven Rivlin has apologised for having the Jewish Passover vacation dinner “Seder” along with his daughter regardless of the federal government’s ban on social gatherings because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I apologise. Since my spouse handed away, my kids assist me so much in my private affairs, and in work issues as contacts throughout holidays and weekends, when my workplace just isn’t staffed,” Xinhua information company quoted Rivlin as saying in his assertion on Friday.

Rivlin, 80, hosted his daughter on the presidential residence in Jerusalem for the standard Passover dinner on Wednesday night.

The federal government had solely allowed the individuals to have the standard meal at house with none one else visiting.
