There may be widespread help amongst G-7 members on a proposal led by India and South Africa to waive mental property rights for COVID-19 vaccines on the World Commerce Organisation (WTO), a international ministry official advised reporters on Sunday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a video linked tackle to a G7 summit in Britain on Saturday, sought help for a Commerce-Associated Points of Mental Property Rights (TRIPS) waiver on the WTO.
